About The Tour
With your expert British Tours guide take a stroll through Royal London, heading to Buckingham Palace, the King's official London residence and a working royal palace. Enjoy the pomp and circumstance of the centuries old Changing of the Guard (the guard change does not happen every day out of summer season, see Changing of the Guard schedule).
Wander through London’s oldest Royal Park and past the home of the longest-serving Prince of Wales in history. Pass the Tudor palace of Henry VIII and see some of the poshest shops in London which have kept the Royals suited and booted for centuries. Hear stories of scandal, kidnap and plain old gossip.
Also see the Household Cavalry at work; Westminster Abbey, where the Kings and Queens of England have been crowned from William the Conqueror through to King Charles III who was the 40th reigning monarch to be crowned in May 2023 (we can also arrange a visit inside to view this magnificent building, you will need more time and entrance fees apply); the Palace of Westminster, better known as the Houses of Parliament and, time permitting, enter inside to see where Charles I and William Wallace were sentenced to death.
This walk will hit the big spots, but in true British Tours style, we also go off the beaten path on a fabulous and exciting walk of historic and contemporary Royalty!
